PNA provides the most extensive transition programs available in the industry, with a focus on clinical and cultural foundations that serve as the basis of our services for you and your assigned healthcare facility. Clinical Transitions

We have programs for Clinical Transitions (CTP) designed for international registered nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. The Clinical Nursing Program (3 weeks) and Clinical Therapy Program (2 weeks) include training on clinical and cultural differences for international healthcare professionals practicing in the United States, such as live lectures, online learning modules, role-play scenarios, lab activities, and shadowing experiences. For nurses, there is the Level II Trauma Center, while for therapists, there are home health, hospital, and outpatient settings.

Cultural Transitions

Our Cultural Transitions team assists you in making the necessary adjustments to life in the United States. We work alongside you, guiding you step by step through this life-changing process, with support and training in areas such as American values and cultural attitudes, driving with a certified driving instructor, obtaining a U.S. driver’s license, personal finance management, housing acquisition, vehicle purchasing, locating schools, places of worship, post offices, conflict management, and more. We can even help you find a home, purchase a vehicle, and shop for supplies

Our support encompasses:

  • Human Resources Assistance: An assigned Human Resources (HR) specialist will regularly check in with you to offer help to you and your family when needed.
  • Clinical Assistance: Your designated nurse manager will be in constant communication with you, providing clinical resources and assistance to ensure your success during your assignment.
  • Transition Assistance: Our transitions trip specialist will accompany you and help you relocate to your new community, providing continuous support as you adjust to your new environment.
  • Ongoing Educational Opportunities: We offer a reimbursement program of up to $500 annually for each healthcare professional who pursues continuing education while on assignment.
  • Personalized Visits: Our Clinical Department conducts periodic in-person visits to your assigned facility to provide tailored support.
  • Direct Employee Conversion: At the end of your assignment, you may have the chance to transition to a full-time employee position at your facility. We will guide this process.
